Helpfully it also has common time-telling phrases like ‘quarter to’, ‘half-past’, ‘quarter past’, and ‘o’clock’ written on the dial in black to make it easy for children to grasp those concepts.   

The clock-hands are colorful with the hour-hand shaped like an arrow to help children know which direction to look in to tell the time.
